I avoid watching the news because it gives me a grasp of reality and that scares me immensely. If so-called muslims can bomb a mosque during Jummah prayer in the month of Ramadan in Kuwait, then I think it's safe to say that nobody is no longer safe. You're probably thinking, I'm overreacting and that something like that would never happen to us but I'm pretty sure the man who was decapitated yesterday in France didn't think he was going to get head chopped off when he woke up in the morning but hey. There's honestly no humanity anymore, people are literally turning into animals.
About me
Kent/ Oxford.
I don't really know what I'm doing with my life. I just regurgitate my thoughts and feelings here. I mostly blog about life, society and dumb shit that I cry about, so you probably don't want to read what I have to say but if you do, I hope I don't waste too much of your time.
Okay. Bye.

I really don't understand why we need numerous news channels and newspapers to report the exact same news. Like the number of the dead is not exactly going to change between BBC news and The Guardian. Facts are Facts, why do we need so many takes on it? I acknowledge that the industry needs to make its money and blah blah blah but if people spent less time on how to present the news and actually tried to deal with the issues that they are reporting then perhaps we would live in a better world. A world where there would not be a terrorist attack as breaking news every other day. A world where we there won't be a new "pray for..." hashtag. I just see all this repetitive coverage as a waste of money and time. I'm not saying it's the media's fault for things like ISIS but our silence in trying to stop it might as well be interpreted as an encouragement.
